Video Production Senior Animator/Editor

If you love sports highlight videos, animations and sports-oriented websites, then you might like Old Hat. Because that's what we do. And we're currently accepting applications for a Video Production Senior Animator/Editor to cover a full range of creative services including: concept development, creative/art direction, design and animation.
Qualifications:
-3 years minimum experience in the post production industry as a designer, producer or production manager for video production, animation, vfx.
-Experience planning and managing project timelines .
-Experience working with clients.
-Experience working with and leading teams of artists and editors to accomplish production goals.
-Possess a high level of knowledge and industry background in visual effects, animation and motion graphics.
-Able to work as both a designer and production artist.
-Experience of overseeing the production process including scriptwriting, editing and shooting will be a bonus.
- Knowledge of 3D rendering and special effects technologies.
-Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Studio, Adobe Premiere and Maya Unlimited.
-Solid Photoshop and Flash skills.
-Experience with video compression using Apple Compressor.
-Excellent typography and graphics skills.
-Modeling and texturing skills a plus.
-Able to key and composite elements from different sources (live action, animation, photographic, etc.).
-Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi task is a must.
-Ability to create traditional and modern design styles that fit the project.
-Troubleshoot problem areas within the path from graphics to edit Post-Production.
-Provide guidance, direction, and technical support to fellow team members.
-General familiarity with sports and sports culture in the USA, including: basketball, football, baseball, volleyball, soccer and hockey.
-Reliable transportation.
-Must be extremely organized and reliable.
Old Hat specializes in graphic design, web development and video production for various collegiate and professional athletics organizations including more than 50 major universities and pro sports teams. This is a staff position, with benefits, vacation, 401k, and a great working environment working on big projects. This individual must have an easy going attitude who can stay cool under firm deadlines.
